In January 2007 e COGRA is hoping to release a report which will be the result of the largest ever survey of online casinos and players who use them. The aim is to get a clear idea of what motivates online casinos players and what they require when gambling at online casinos sites.
Researchers from the University of Las Vegas and Nottingham University in the UK will be undertaking the study. They will distribute about 20,000 online questionnaires which will be followed by more in depth qualitative surveys of six of the online casinos major markets, Great Britain, the US, Japan, Canada, Germany and Sweden. eCOGRA is hoping to get a factual idea of what is going on in the online casinos industry rather than always going on rumors and hearsay.
An extensive survey like this one is an invaluable tool for finding out all kinds of thing about the online casinos industry. When the report comes out in January it will be used to see exactly what is going on at online casinos sites and with online casinos players and if it is used wisely, it can be used in order to improve the online casinos industry, ensuring that online casinos fans get what they need and want. This survey could also be fundamental in making government officials in the US realize that the recent online casinos ban is a big mistake and not what most Americans want.
