The player’s turn can come to an end in several ways. The first way is by choosing to stand and not take another card. The second way is by busting, and the third way is by opting to double down and draw an additional card. Once the player finished playing his hand, the dealer turns over the card that was faced down.
First, the player chooses to stand, which means that he is content with the hand he is currently holding and doesn’t want to take any more cards. Second, the player busts by going over 21. Third, the player may also opt to double down and take one more card. Once all the players have finished playing their hand, the dealer then turns over his card that was facing down and plays his hand.
